Can a spider lift tip over?

A spider lift is incredibly stable, but it can tip if safety protocols are ignored. Modern machines have electronic interlocks that prevent the boom from moving unless the outriggers are correctly deployed. In my 16 years of experience, safety always comes down to the operator's understanding of ground conditions and stabilisation.
